They’ve issued a call for submissions, which ends February 28, 2013. Issue #2 will be out in March 2013. What they will accept: Fiction Creative non-fiction Poetry (of any length – 5 poems max can be submitted) Novel excerpts (those that can stand alone) Essays about or related to Queens Essays related to the journal’s mission (celebrating a diversity of voices and experiences, especially those often not given space) Reviews of books written by Queens writers or have a Queens, NY focus NB: genre fiction will not be accepted.
